Author's Biography
Karl August Dächsel (1824-1890) was een vooraanstaande Duitse theoloog en Bijbelcommentator, wiens werk een blijvende invloed heeft gehad op het theologische landschap van zijn tijd en daarna. Geboren op 5 juni 1824 in Wittenberg, Duitsland, studeerde Dächsel theologie aan de Universiteit van Halle en later aan de Universiteit van Berlijn. Zijn academische achtergrond en theologische expertise vormden de basis voor zijn latere carrière als commentator en schrijver.
Dächsel's bekendste werk is zijn achtdelige commentaar op de Bijbel, waarin hij een diepgaande analyse biedt van elk vers in de Heilige Schrift.
