And it shall come to pass that as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so will I save you, and you shall be a blessing; so let your hands be strong, fear not.

So again have I turned and thought in these days to do well to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah; fear not.

So I fed the lean flock, for there were many sheep; and I took two staffs; the one I called Pleasant and the other I called Cord, and I fed the flock.

And it was nullified in that very day; and so the meek of the flock who were watching me knew that it was the word of the LORD.

And I said to them, If it seems good in your sight, give me my wages; and if not, then you are doing me injustice. So they weighed for my wages thirty pieces of silver.

On that day the LORD shall defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so that he who is weak among them on that day shall be like David; and the house of David shall be like God, like the angel of the LORD who is before them.

And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these camps; they shall face similar destruction.

And I will rebuke the devourer, so that it shall not destroy the fruits of the land; neither shall your vine cast its fruit before the time in the field, says the LORD of hosts.

But Joseph her husband was a pious man, and did not wish to make it public; so hewas thinking of divorcing her secretly.

And they were saying, Where is the King of the Jews, who has been born? For we have seen his star in the East, so we have come to worship him.

So he gathered together all the high priests and the scribes of the people, and he kept asking them, where the Christ would be born?

And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said to them, Go and enquire very carefully concerning the boy, and when you have found him, come back and let me know, so that I also may go and worship him.

And they saw in a dream not to return to Herod, so they departed to their own country by another way.

When they had gone, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, and said to him, Arise, take the infant boy and his mother, and escape to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you, for Herod is ready to demand the child so as to destroy him.

And he remained there until the death of Herod, so that what was said from the Lord by the prophet, might be fulfilled, I have called my son from Egypt.

When Herod saw that he was insulted by the Magi, he was greatly enraged, so he sent forth and had all the infant boys in Bethlehem and in its suburbs killed, from two years old and down, according to the time that he had enquired from the Magi.

So Joseph rose up, took the boy and his mother, and he came to the land of Israel.

And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth, so that what was said by the prophet, might be fulfilled, He shall be called a Nazarene.

But Jesus answered and said to him, Permit now, for this is necessary for us so that all righteousness may be fulfilled; and then he permitted him.

So he fasted forty days and forty nights; but at last he was hungry.
