Behold, the hand of Yahweh is not so shortThat it cannot save;Nor is His ear so dullThat it cannot hear.

But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God,And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.

So it is that truth is missing;And he who turns aside from evil makes himself plunder.Then Yahweh saw,And it was evil in His eyes that there was no justice.

According to what they deserve, so He will pay in full,Wrath to His adversaries, what is deserved to His enemies;To the coastlands He will pay what they deserve.

So they will fear the name of Yahweh from the westAnd His glory from the rising of the sun,For He will come like a rushing streamWhich the wind of Yahweh makes flee.

Your gates will be open continually;They will not be closed day or night,So that men may bring to you the wealth of the nations,With their kings led in procession.

For as the earth brings forth its branches,And as a garden causes the things sown in it to branch out,So Lord Yahweh will cause righteousness and praiseTo branch out before all the nations.

For as a young man marries a virgin,So your sons will marry you;And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride,So your God will rejoice over you.

I looked, and there was no one to help,And I was astonished, and there was no one to uphold;So My own arm brought salvation to Me,And My wrath upheld Me.

And He said, "Surely, they are My people,Sons who will not deal falsely."So He became their Savior.

Thus says Yahweh,"As the new wine is found in the cluster,And one says, ‘Do not make it a ruin, for there is benefit in it,'So I will act on behalf of My slavesIn order not to make all of them a ruin.

They will not build and another inhabit;They will not plant and another eat;For as the lifetime of a tree, so will be the days of My people,And My chosen ones will wear out the work of their hands.

So I will choose their punishmentsAnd will bring on them what they dread,Because I called, but no one answered;I spoke, but they did not listen.And they did what was evil in My eyesAnd chose that in which I did not take pleasure."

As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you;And you will be comforted in Jerusalem."

"For just as the new heavens and the new earthWhich I make will endure before Me," declares Yahweh,"So your seed and your name will endure.

"As the thief is shamed when he is found,So the house of Israel is shamed;They, their kings, their princes,And their priests and their prophets,

Why do you despise Him so muchIn changing your way?Also, you will be put to shame by EgyptAs you were put to shame by Assyria.

So it was, because of the lightness of her harlotry, that she polluted the land and committed adultery with stones and trees.

Surely, as a woman treacherously departs from her lover,So you have dealt treacherously with Me,O house of Israel," declares Yahweh.

It shall come about when they say, ‘Why has Yahweh our God done all these things to us?' then you shall say to them, ‘As you have forsaken Me and served foreign gods in your land, so you will serve strangers in a land that is not yours.'
