a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born May 28, 1659, at Flemingen, near Naumburg. He studied at Leipsic, where he died, April 21, 1741, having received the degree of D.D. in his eighty-second year. He wrote, Praecepta Homiletica: — Tract. Hermenecutico-homileticus in Evangelia Dominicalia et Festivalia: — Dicta Biblica ex V. et N.T. cum Scopo Evangeliorum Annuorum Convenientia: — De Vana Spe Insignis Judaeorum Conversionis Simultanae ante Diem Extremum adhuc Exspectandae.
