a Protestant theologian of Germany, who was born in 1744, and died February 18, 1801, as court deacon and member of consistory at Weimar, is the author of, Die Augsburgische Confession nach der Urschrift ins Reichsarchiv (Weimar, 1781): — Kritische Geschichte der Augsburgischen Confession, aus archivalischen Nachrichten (Frankf. 1783).
