brother of David, was born at Freystadt in 1590.. In 1618 he-was promoted as doctor of theology at Frankfort, and acted for some time as professor at the gymnasium in Betthen. In 1646 he was called to the pastorate at Brieg, and died Dec. 24, 1647.
