(Heb. To'ken, תֹּכֵן , task or measure [as in Ezekiel 5:18; 45:11]; Sept. θοκκάν v.r. θοχχάν; Vulg. Thochen), one of the towns in the tribe of Simeon (1 Chronicles 4:32); probably the same elsewhere (Joshua 15:24) called TELEM (See TELEM) (q.v.) or TELAIM (1 Samuel 15:4).
