Conder suggests (Tent Work, 1:277) Aydn Kara, a name, he says, sometimes given to the springs Ayun Abu-Meharib, son the slope of a low hill, seven miles from Beit Athb, a little way (three miles and a half) north-west of Zoreah; and this he thinks represents the ancient En hak- Kore.
