(Heb. Motsa', מוֹצָא, a going forth, as often), the name of two men.
1. (Sept. Μοσά v.r. Ι᾿ωσά .) The second of the three sons of Caleb by one of his concubines, Ephah (1 Chronicles 2:46). B.C. ante 1618.
2. (Sept. Μαισά , also Μασά v.r. Μασσά .) The son of Zimri and father of Binea, among the posterity of king Saul (1 Chronicles 8:36-37; 1 Chronicles 9:42-43). B.C. considerably post 1037.
