"Jerijah;" also in the paragogic form Yeriya'hu, יְרַיָּהוּ; Sept. ῾Ιεριά in 1 Chronicles 23:19, but Ι᾿εδιοῦ in 1 Chronicles 24:23; Vulgate Jeriau, Auth. Vers. "Jeriah"), the first in rank of the "sons" of Hebron in the Levitical arrangements instituted by David (1 Chronicles ut sup.). B.C. 1014.
