Hebenstreiti Johann Paul
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born June 25, 1664, at Neustadton-the-Orla. He studied at Jena, where he also commenced his academical career. In 1697 the university at Altdorf honored him with the doctorate of divinity, and in 1710 he was professor of theology at Jena.
