a Lutheran theologian, was born at Uffenheim, in Franconia, in 1579, and studied at Wittenberg. In 1606 he was preacher at Lichtenau, in 1616 at Niiremberg, where he died, July 16, 1634. He is the author of, Institutiones Grammaticce Hebraice (Nuremberg, 1626): — Lectionis Hebr. Institutio (Anspach, 1608). See J6cher, Allgemeines Gelehrten-Lexikon, s.v.; Furst, Bibl.
