(Hebrews Dishan',) דַּישָׁן another form for the name Dishon; Sept. ῾Ρισών, but in 1 Chronicles 1:42 Δαισών v.r. Δισάν ), the name of the youngest son of Seir- the Horite, father of Uz and Aran, and head of one of the original tribes of Idumaea (Genesis 36:21; Genesis 36:28; Genesis 36:30; 1 Chronicles 1:38; 1 Chronicles 1:42).
