a Baptist minister, was born at Hopkinton, N.H., November 6, 1772. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1798; was ordained as an eavangelist in 1804; in 1816 was immersed; ordained as a Baptist evangelist November 14, 1816, at Lyme, Connecticut; preached in various places, but chiefly devoted-himself to missionary and educational causes, and died May 28, 1821.
