an English Baptist minister, was born at St. Peter's, Isle of Thanet, in 1769. He was converted at the age of eighteen, and joined the Church at Shallows, near his birthplace; very soon commenced the work of the ministry, and took charge of the Church in his native place, St. Peter's, and died November 17, 1851.
