a town of France, five miles from Paris. A Protestant Synod was held there in 1631, in which the Confession of Augsburg was declared free of errors on all fundamental doctrinal points, and its adherents to be entitled to the sacrament of the Lord's Supper in the Reformed churches, to be accepted as sponsors for children, and to intermarry with the Reformed.
