an Irish theologian, was born in the county of Westmeath in 1605. He entered the order of the Recollets, and studied at Salzburg and Louvain; returned to his country as commissary-general of his order; emigrated when the Puritans were in power; returned at the Restoration, in 1660; and died at Dublin in 1666. He wrote several works, especially, Remonstrantia bernorum contra Lovanienses Ultramontanasque Censuras, etc. (Lond. 1665, fol.): Roma Triumphans (Antwerp, 1635): Apostolatus Evangelium Missionariorum (1653): Controversice Generalis Fidei (1660): Loyalty Asserted and the Late.
