an eminent French. engraver, was born at Nancy, in Lorraine, in 1592, and was instructed by Cantagallina and Giulio Parigii. He died in 1635. The following are some of his principal works: The Murder of the Innocents; The Crucifixion, with: the Virgin, St. John, and Magdalene; The Annunciation; The Entombing of Christ. See Hoefer, Nouv.
