an English Nonconformist, brother of Nicholas, was born in Worcestershire, studied at Cambridge, and became curate of Isleworth. He held the living of Long-Ditton during the Commonwealth, and was ejected at the Restoration. He was a member of the Assembly of Divines, and a vigorous opponent of prelacy and superstition. He died 1664.
