canon of St. Honord at Paris, was a native of Auvergne, and a celebrated preacher. During the civil troubles of 1649, he remained firm to the king, and, in 1651, was deputed to Rome with M. de la Lane, on the subject of the Five Propositions. He died at Paris, November 7, 1763, leaving Sermon sur la Grace: Lettre au Sujet de ce Sermon: Requetes et Memoires au Sujet de l'Affaire des cinq Propositions de Jansenius: Tableau de l'Homme juste: Oraison Funebre de Louis le Juste: Vie du P.
