a minister of the Free Church of Scotland, was born in Edinburgh, December 19, 1808. He studied at the University of Edinburgh;. was pastor at Kelso from 1838 to 1866, and died July 13, 1889. In 1849 he founded the Quarterly Journal of Prophecy.
