(Heb. Bavvay', בִּוִּי, of Persian origin; Sept. Βενεϊ v ), a son of Henadad, and ruler (שִּׁר, praefect) of the half (פֶּלֶךְ ) of Keilah, mentioned as repairing a portion of the branch wall along the eastern brow of Zion, on the return from Babylon (Nehemiah 3:18). B.C. 446.
