(rather Banaias [q.v.], Βαναίας ), one of the Israelites, sons of Phoros, who divorced his Gentile wife after the exile (1 Esdras 5:26); evidently the BENAIAH (See BENAIAH) (q.v.) of the correct text (Ezra 2:25).
