(Heb. Arbi', אִרְבִּי, Sept. Ἀρβί ), an epithet of Paarai or Naarai, one of David's warriors (2 Samuel 23:35; comp. 1 Chronicles 11:37), probably as being a native of the town ARAB (See ARAB) (Joshua 15:52). In the list of Chronicles it is given as Ben-Ezbai, by a change in letters not unfrequently occurring. (See EZBAI). (See Kennicott, Dissert. on 2 Samuel 23, p. 210.)
