(‘ ῎Αννουος , Vulg. Amin), given (1 Esdras 8:48) as the name of one of the Levites sent to accompany the captives returning from Babylon; but it is evidently an error of the translator for וְאַתּוֹ, veitto', "and with him," of the original text (Ezra 8:19).
