Adams, Moses (2),
a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born- in Jefferson County, N.Y., Jan. 111806. He joined the Church in his youth, and in 1830 united with the Oneida Conference, in which for nearly twenty years he did effective work, though physically weak. In 1854 he removed to Racine, Wis. The last year of his life he spent in Kansas making a way for Methodism. He died of overwork some time in 1871 or 1872. He was well-informed, disciplined, and refined; laborious and sympathetic.
