a Protestant theologian of Germany, was born at Konigsee, March 10, 1672. In 1702 he was appointed professor of Hebrew at Leipsic, in 1717 he was called to Dantzic as professor and pastor; in 1730 he went to Wittenberg as professor of theology and general superintendent; and. died there, June 5, 1740. He wrote, Diss. de Confessione Privata (Gedani, 1723): — Exercitatio de Servuorum Hebrceorum Acquisitione et Servitiis (Lips. 1704 ): — Diss. de . Hebi.
