Wulstan (Wulfstan, or Wolstan) (1)

a monk of Winchester, lived in the 9th century. He was the author of a work on the Harmony of Tones, a poem in Latin hexameters on the Miracles of St. Swithin, and a prose Life of Bishop Ethelwold. See Ailibone, Dict. of Brit and Amer. Authors, s.v.
