a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born in 1701 at Gotha. In 1731 he was appointed pastor at Crobstadt and Grabsleben, and in 1734 he was called to Bischleben, where he died, February 10, 1745. He is the author of Hilaria Sacra, oder Heiliqe Sonntagslust der Kinder Gottes (Arnstadt, 1731), which contains sixty-eight hymns which he wrote.
