a Reformed theologian of France, was born in 1595. Having completed his theological studies, he was ordained in 1620, was appointed, in 1626, pastor of the Reformed Church at La Rochelle, and died March 12, 1651. He is the author of Paraphrasse sur les Lamentattions du Prophete Jeremie (1646). See Jocher, Allgemeines Gelehrten-Lexikon, s.v.; Lichtenberger, Encyclop. des Sciences Religieuses, s.v. (B.P.)
