a minister of the Reformed (Dutch) Church, was born at Rotterdam, N. Y., Nov. 17, 1777. He graduated at Union College in 1799, and having studied theology privately, was licensed by the Classis of Albany, Sept. 29,1801. He was pastor at Greenbush and Taghanic, N.Y., 1803-50; supplied Linlithgo, 1806-14; and was pastor at Greenbush (Gallatin), 1850-64. He died June 29, 1873.' See Corwin, Manual of the Ref.
