a German Protestant bishop, who died at Walk, Livonia, October 20, 1871, doctor of theology, is best known as the editor of. Mittheilungen und Nachrichten fur die evangelische Geistlichkeit Russlands (Dorpat, 1839 sq.); besides he published, Sermons (1840): — Das gegenwartige Vermhltniss der evangel.
