professor of Hebrew at Wittenberg, where he also died, April 8, 1636, was born at Hoxter in the year 1588. He published, Grammatica Hebraica Universalis (Hafniae, 1627,and often); excerpts from his grammar were published by Baldovius, Gezelius, Mitternacht, and Mylius: Disputatio de Mutatione Punctorum Hebrceorum Generali (Wittenberg, 1633): Novum Test.
