Still, Elijah
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, was born in White County, Tenn., Sept. 4, 1805. He was admitted on trial in the Holston Conference in 1832, but in 1838 was granted a location, and settled in Bradley County. When the present Holston Conference was formed, in 1865, he was readmitted, and labored very successfully. He died at his home in Bradley, April 12, 1875.
