a German divine, was born March 21, 1684, at Freienwalde, and died Dec. 12, 1744, as pastor primarius at Driesen, in the Neumark. He is best known as the editor of Synopsis Bibliothecoe Exegeticoe in V. et N. Testamentum (1733-41, 9 vols.; republished at Berlin 1865-68). See Theol. Universal- Lex. s.v.; First, Bibl.
