a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in Ireland, Dec. 2, 1751. He emigrated to America in 1774, embraced religion in 1782, and entered the itinerancy in 1796. For twenty-eight years his labors were unremitting, and he ceased not until he was literally worn down in the glorious work. He died Oct. 24, 1824.
