a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born at Strasburg in 1614, and died there November 26, 1670, doctor of theology and professor of Oriental languages. He wrote, Jonas Propheta Philol. Commentar. Expositus (Strasburg, 1665): — Novum Testamentum ex Talmude et Antiquitatibus Hebraeorum Illustratum (ed. by J. Chr. Meuschen, Leipsicj 1736):— Epistola Pauli ad Titum et Philemon. Syr.
