(or rather Daddoe'us [as in 1 Esdras 8:46], Δαδδαῖος, v.r. Δολδαῖος, Λοδδαῖος, and Λοδαῖος ), a corrupt Graecized form (1 Esdras 8:45) of the name IDDO (q.v.) of the Hebrew text (Ezra 8:17).
