Rus, Johann Reinhard
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born February 24, 1679, and studied at Giessen and Jena. In 1708 he was made adjunct to the philosophical faculty of Jena, in 1712 professor of theology, in 1730 doctor of theology, and died April 18, 1738.
