a German Orientalist, who died Oct. 15, 1799, at Bremen, where he retired in 1753 from his position as doctor and professor of theology and Oriental languages at the gymnasium in Deventer, is the author of Dissertatio Inaug. Exegetica ad Psalmos 78:21-23 (Deventer, 1755): — Descriptio Codicis Hebroei Manuscripti Daventriensis in his Sylloge Commentationum et Observationum (ibid. 1762 ): — Commentar.
