a Danish Orientalist was born November 22, 1807, and died November 14, 1832, at Copenhagen, professor. He is the author of, Der aeldeste hebraiske Tidsregning indtil Moses, efter kilderne pa ny bearbejdet og forsynet sned et Karl over Paradis (Copenhagen, 1828; Germ. transl. by Mohnike, Leipsic, 1836): — Ueber das Alter und die Echtheit der, Zend- Sprache (Germ. transl. by Hagen, Berlin, 1826).
