a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born July 28, 1682, at Zachau, Pomerania. He studied at Wittenberg and Greifswalde; was in 1716 rector of the gymnasium at Stettin, and died July 11, 1757. He wrote, De Dionysio Areopagita Scriptisque eidem Suppositis (Greifswalde, 1708): — De Apostasia a Lutheranismo ad Papismum AEternum Exitiosa (1711'): — De Vita Judae Apostoli (eod.): — De Ritu Veterum Vota Solvendi et Nuncupandi Variisque Votorum Generibus (1730).
