a Welsh Baptist minister, was born near Amlwch, Wales, in March 1796. He pursued his studies in the College of Abergavenny, and was ordained as pastor of the Church at Llangollen, which was his only settlement. Through his exertions a college was established in the place where he resided, in 1862, for training young men for the ministry, of which he was for a time the president. He died Sept. 7,1875.
