Sieur de La Salle, nephew of Charles Perrot, was a writer who flourished in the 16th century. He was educated at Oxford, and published several works which testify to his great piety. Of these we mention, La Gigautomachie, ou Combat de tous les Arts et Sciences (Middleburg, 1593, 8vo): — Tableaux sacres (Frankf. 1594, 8vo), extracts from the Old Testament in verse: — and Le Trsor de Salomon, enz Quatrains et Sonnets (Rotterdam, 1594, 12mo). According to Bayle, he had worked upon the famous Catholicon d'Espnagne. One of his sons was the translator, Nicolas Perrot. See Bayle, Diet.
