a Baptist minister, was born at Bridgewater, Massachusetts, May 5, 1792. He was converted in 1811, and ordained June 8, 1813, pastor at Lattentown, N.Y., where he remained twelve years. Twice he was pastor of churches in the city of New York. He died in October, 1881, at Red Bank, N.J. He was remarkably successful in his ministerial labors.
