a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born September 23, 1661, at Dantzic. He studied at Rostock and Wittenberg, was in 1689 professor at Kiel, and died September 30, 1707. He wrote, Diss. de Rechabitis ex Jeren. 35, an essay prepared while yet at the gymnasium (Dantzic, 1681): De Operationibus Daemonum (Wittenberg, 1684): Diss. Physica de Pluralitate Mundorum contra Cartesianos (eod.): Utrun Pontificii Cogantur Concedere Lutheranuos in Religione sua Salvari? (Kiel, 1689): De Philosophia Characteristica ei Parcenetica (1705): De Variis Modis Moralia Tradendi Liber (1707).
