Papst, Johann Georg Friedrich

a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born at Ludwigstadt, Bayreuth, October 21, 1754. He studied at Leipsic and. Erlangen, was in 1783 professor of philosophy at the latter place, in 1794 dean at Zirndorf, near Nuremberg,. in 1818 doctor of theology, and died June 7, 1821.
