Ouvrier, Ludwig Benjamin
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a Protestant theologian of Germany, was born at Prenzlov, Prussia, May 7, 1735. He studied at Halle, and was for some time private tutor. In 1763 he was made court-preacher at Darmstadt, in 1770 member of consistory, and in 1772 professor of theology at Giessen. Ouvrier died October 1, 1792.
