a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born December 28, 1747, at Zoblitz near Marieubnrg. In 1780 he was rector at Schleitz, in 1786 at Naumburg, in 1788 at Zeitz, and died August 10, 1819, leaving, De Usu Versionis Vulgate (Schleitz, 1782-85): — Formula Augustanae Confess.
