a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born March 2, 1615. He studied at Rostock and Konigsberg, was in 1644 professor at Rostock, in 1650 doctor of theology, in 1662 pastor at Hamburg, and died April 14, 1675. He wrote, Exercitationes anti Calvinianae, anti-Socinianae, Logicae, Politicae: In Formulam Concordiae: Theses de Confessione et Absolutione Privata: Dissertationes de Gratia Irrestsibili: De Nestorianismo: De Ecclesia: De Gentilium in Veteri Testamento ad Regnum Colorum Vocatione: De Fato Cuclvinistico: De Simonia: Πρῶτον ψεῦδος Socinianorum.
